ABCs

On the way home from playing volleyball at the church I started to sing ABCs to Madeline. We sing this song A LOT along with Old McDonald and Popcorn Popping. Those are our top 3 right now. So I think I sang it at least 5 times in a row (we've been trying to burn it into her brain) and then I got sick of the song. A couple of minutes later I heard her sing "E-E-E-E-E-E-Eeeeeeeeeeee, I-I-I-I-I-I-Iiiiiiiiii, E-E-E-E-E-E-Eeeeeeeeee Yyyyyyyy" and it was mostly to the beat of ABCs!! It wasn't really to the tune but she sort of went up and down at about the same places of the song. I know she was trying!! I love in a lot of ways this little mimicking stage she's in. I guess it is because she hasn't mimicked anything bad yet. Although the other day Raymey said "Shoot" and she started saying "shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot". That wasn't bad or anything, it just made us realize that she's listening!!! I really enjoy the teaching part of being a Mom. It's my favorite.
