More Carrots, Peas....
A few days ago I heated up some mixed carrots and peas for Madeline and to my surprise, she ate them! Well, she picked out the carrots (and gagged on them if one accidentally went in her mouth with the peas) and she only ate the peas. So, today at the grocery store I decided to get a bag of just frozen peas so I wouldn't have to sort out the carrots and she wouldn't waste them. When we got home I fed her the last of the mixed carrots and peas and I pulled out most of the carrots and figured she'd eat around them. Nope. She found the 8 carrot pieces on the tray and ate them, and totally turned her nose at the peas. I personally dislike peas, so I hope Raymey likes them because we have a big bag of them in the freezer. Maybe we could have someone over for games and peas...

Hmmm... there is always that salad that has peas in it, you know, the "24 Hour Salad"? But it also has a little mayo, so on second thought, probably no one will be eating it at your house!
I love your cute new blog!! Also, hang on to that bag of just plain peas with no carrots. The next time you feed her she will probably just like the peas and not the carrots again.
Just when you think you have it figured out what they like, they change it on you again!!
Cute cute! I see her pics and read stories about her and then think, oh yeah, she's Cade's age -- it's funny how we keep babies in our heads as the last time we saw them. You're a cute mom, Kelly!
