Happy Halloween!!!

We had our ward trunk-or-treat party tonight. It was a lot of fun! Let me explain our costume. Madeline was a ladybug (same costume from last year) and Raymey and I were spider webs to catch her. We figured that we should dress up in some way. On Tuesday night I thought, "Hmmm, I have glow-in-the-dark paint and we each have an old black shirt, let's be webs!" I think it is kinda strange that I happened to have the paint. It was $1 and when I bought it I knew that glow paint was a must-have:) Weird!
Once we got outside it was pretty hard to get a picture of Madeline from the front! She was all over the place (it is ok, her back was cute!
SIDE STORY:We had a trick-or-treat lesson earlier today in hopes that she would learn to say something similiar to "trick-or-treat". We didn't have a bag so I grabbed a little pumkin decoration for Madeline and I went in the bathroom with some m&ms. Raymey taught her how to knock and then I opened the door and we tried to get her to say "treat" or "please". The order of the whole thing never stuck, but she thought it was an awesome game! After maybe 8 tries at the door we finally gave up. But Madeline wasn't done. A few minutes later she walked in our closet with her pumpkin and kept closing and opening the door and smiling and saying "he ye go" (here you go). It really cracked us up!
That little story did relate in some way. Tonight at trunk or treat she walked around saying "he ye go" and accepting candy. She also tried about half of the time to put candy back. Sometimes I took candy out of her pumpkin (which is about big enough for 2 mini candy bars) and put it back in at the next car. We didn't really want to collect candy, we just had lots of fun!
Last pics. Left: Madeline and I walking to the first car of the night. Right: After a few cars gave her candy Madeline was not shy in approaching others for treats!

Is it the glow-in-the dark paint we bought at wal-mart last time you were home?
